Welcome to the home page of International Grace global 501(c)(3) nonprofit- a Durham, North Carolina service organization geared toward serving people in our local community, in our nation and around the world.Hunger relief/Food Distribution
No one should go a day without a healthy, nutritious meal; and we are determined to make sure that doesn't happen on our watch. Our team is dedicated to providing hunger relief and quality food distribution for those in our immediate community; and, when we can, serving those nationally and internationally - along with our sister nonprofits who are aligned in our mission.homelessness prevention
Homelessness prevention in our nation is a full time mission, and we are here to do our part in making sure that families and individuals are cared for in regard to housing advocacy, transition services for those moving into adequate housing from prior experience with homelessness, and being a helping hand in the world when there sometimes seems like there are none. We are the change we wish to see in this world.
Welcome to International Grace -
International Grace is a North Carolina-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established to help better the world, through charitable and educational programs and activities– both nationally and internationally. We work locally and nationally and extend our Grace internationally by working with other nonprofits and mission-based organizations who align with and share our mission.
We are a local organization with international outreach, founded in 2004 by Elizabeth and Freddie Vareene. Started as an outreach ministry in Charlotte, North Carolina, Ms. Elizabeth and Mr. Freddie Vareene have served people of all walks of live, with love and compassion. A highlight of this service is a personal development module tailored to all walks of people, called “A Purpose Driven Life.”

"Our service to others is the rent that we pay, for our time here on earth." - Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
Welcome to International Grace.
From feeding the hungry to helping youth and families in transition, to global outreach– International Grace has been a beacon in our community and a pillar in the nonprofit space. Much of our early work was done out of our hearts and collective efforts with other organizations, our church family, and by simply wanting to help in any way we could. We quickly formed into a structured organization and decided to develop our efforts in a way that would be able to help more people locally, nationally and internationally!
Our international work began in Kenya and Malawi, and continues in Uganda and we are looking to also work in other African countries as our outreach continues to grow. We have established “bridges of hope and power” across the waters and it strengthens our ability to help others see how they can connect cross-culturally, and be a pillar of service and Grace. We invite others to be part of our extended IG Volunteer Base, and we go into each of our activities, events, or advocacy programs with the mindset of “each one reach one.” We know that we are all “stronger together” and we work hard to be the change we wish to see in this world.—Elizabeth and Freddie Vareene, International Grace
